I experience an odd problem. On different PCs, my Samsung T5 or other USB3 drivers seem to perform better, but on my tower the speed appears lower even though it stays steady. My machine is the Silverstone Raven 3, and the front USB ports connect to the back I/O ports (it lacks USB3 for the motherboard). Initially I suspected the ports themselves were the issue, but after testing directly to a back port I got the same consistent rate. Interestingly, using USB3.1 the initial speed was 1 Gb/s then dropped to 50-60 MB/s. I also tried the USB-C port with the Samsung T5, matching the other 3.0 ports, which gave a steady 50-60 MB/s from the start. I installed the newest drivers from ASUS and used a 5 GB file; it worked well. Any suggestions?

It might happen if you're pasting a file from a torrent download, which could be very broken.
