Hey, I noticed your new PC with the 7900XT is taking a long time to boot. The red light stays on VGA for around 4 seconds before it works normally. You ran stress tests on the GPU and didn’t see any issues. Your ASRock Z790 motherboard is installed. When you try to start up, the screen goes black, fans spin very fast, and the VGA light stays on for 5-7 seconds. After about 2 seconds of that screen showing, it boots into Windows. What could be causing this behavior?

Your 7900xt paired with the Asrock Z790 PG Riptide performs identically. A future BIOS update might resolve this issue.

Since I don’t have firsthand experience with the Z790, I’ll provide a general response. Many MBs include a “quick boot” feature, and updating the BIOS is a solid way to ensure your system runs with the latest performance. However, it seems you’re focusing on post-time settings. Reviewing the boot order can be very helpful since the system is looking for the OS during that phase. If you have spinning drives that slow down startup, they may contribute to longer boot times.

I understand, it's just new equipment, the packaging was unpacked and discussed, so I hope it gets resolved soon.
