There seems to be an issue with your memory slots not working properly. The ASUS suggests they might be faulty, so it's recommended to use only the first two slots. Using every other slot after skipping one is correct, but if the problem persists, the faulty slots could affect performance.

Choosing the initial two slots means using just one channel, which could affect performance noticeably based on your system. Make sure to bring the motherboard back if it's covered under warranty.

The TUF Z270 from Asus lists a 5-year warranty on the website, but I bought it in August 2019 from CyberPower PC. I’m unsure how to verify if it’s still covered or if the warranty details are missing.
