The B450 models aren't as plentiful as the B550, yet I notice more affordable options like the A520 in stock. Discovered an Asrock A520M-HDV for 56€, which could drop to around 95€ with the included memory (both items are returned unused, keeping their warranty valid). So far, I'm not seeing a strong case to upgrade further—seems like it's the optimal balance of cost, power consumption (which can be high here), and upgrade potential. That was always the intention, just swapping the CPU without touching the Windows installation.

Sure, just load those higher models like the 5600, 5600X, 5700X, etc. The A520 handles a 3600 comfortably, making it a great match.
