You've tried everything possible and haven't seen any improvement.
I also face issues with frequent crashes of the executable. I've attempted to run it with administrator privileges and disabled vertical sync via the Nividia Graphics control panel. The only solution that works is using compatibility mode for Windows 98, though this leads to noticeable frame drops and audio problems. Can you find a more permanent fix? I own an i5 processor from the Ivy Bridge line, not overclocked, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 780 with the newest beta drivers installed.
