Last week my experience with Windows 11 changed. The sleep mode stopped functioning. It doesn’t automatically put the PC to sleep, the start menu button isn’t working either, and the Win+X shortcut is unavailable. Still, I can sleep the machine using Ctrl+Alt+Del and the bottom-right menu. I’ve tried almost everything possible: adjusted power plans, changed settings, toggled PCI link management, disabled Hibernate Checked viewer, reset logs, closed many processes, checked USB devices, ran DISM and SFC scans, updated drivers, reinstalled Windows, and even created a new user account. Nothing resolved the issue. I’m starting to suspect a permissions problem or something deeper. It’s not just a settings or app issue. If you have any ideas, even small ones, it would help. But I’m not sure if reinstalling is the only option now.
