A few games can display FPS after you enter a console command, so I checked if Skyrim offered similar functionality. If not, I looked into tracking your FPS. Fraps might be manageable since it’s lighter, and Bandicam works well with what you already have installed. Make sure to verify each option for compatibility with your Windows 7 setup.

Fraps works well, especially in games with an integrated FPS counter. When it reduces FPS by just 1-2 points, it's hardly noticeable.

Avoid using console commands. Launching Fraps with FPS display enabled won’t affect performance.
