I've been using modded Skyrim for some time and was checking out a configuration targeting 50-60+ FPS on a 970 with 4GB RAM. I usually apply all the mods I like, but they often clash and create a chaotic mess. I'm interested in adding ENB (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/822/) and Flora Overhaul (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/141/). I tend to explore the world and complete quests naturally as I encounter them, focusing on nice flora and water features. I need a suggested installation sequence plus any .ini adjustments that might help. Thanks a lot.

Use LOOT to finalize your loadout once you’ve gathered all desired mods. For visual enhancements, SMIMM is the top choice—static mesh upgrades. If missing it, add it immediately; it’s an excellent pick. Next, install immersive settlements, patrols, monsters, armor, and weapons mods. They significantly boost the experience, with balanced armor and weapons and solid lore integration.

Recent improvements in immersive patrols are unclear. I recall the previous attempt where forces were confined to a large area near Helgen until the papyrus data gave up.

I use Mod Organizer with LOOT integrated. I was checking the installation steps when several texture mods conflict and need to replace each other. Looking for a more precise guide, such as: These mods > this install sequence > these .ini adjustments. Thanks, Atmos.

I've also used it over the past six months, and it functions well.

Previously I explored Skyrim for roughly a month ago. Helgen handled more foot traffic than Whiterun, though patrols were frequent elsewhere. I dedicated around 60 hours to that session before becoming frustrated enough to stop. (My setup was tailored for a 'prepare to die' Skyrim experience—just one or two hits would end your run, enemies fell in one to two hits/arrows, while tough foes posed far greater threats, especially with a direct hit.)

Here’s a rundown of the mods I installed for a visually appealing Skyrim, but with a lot of adjustments to balance hitpoints and damage. The included maps were Quality World, Solstheim, Apocalypse, and a few others. I also spent considerable time fine-tuning settings within the mods to achieve the right stats.

Some notable features:
- Quality World Map & Solstheim Map
- Apocalypse roads
- Magic of Skyrim Bandolier bags and pouches
- Belt Fastened Quivers, Bijin Warmaidens Campfire, Complete Camping System
- Northern Ranger Cloaks
- Combat Evolved, Deadly Combat, Deadly Dragons
- Enhanced textures, landscapes, and more

Additional tweaks included:
- Falskaar Fores New Idles in Skyrim
- Guard Dialog Overhaul
- Immersive Armors, College of Winterhold, Aptrols DLC
- Vanilla Aggro, Settlements, Weapons, Armor
- JaySuS Swords, Moonpath to Elsweyr, Apocalypse updates
- Tweaks for Perks (Skrim Paladin Armor, Path of Sorcery Magic)
- Enabler patches and visual improvements
- Enhanced camera, textures, and lighting

Other elements:
- Realistic NPCs, improved dialogue, realistic ragdolls, force realism, water effects
- ENB relighting, static mesh upgrades, flora overhaul, new creatures
- SkyUI sounds, modding tools like Staves of Skyrim, Lore-friendly hair, TES5LODGen
- Ultimate HD Fire Effects, unofficial patch notes

This run was quite challenging, but rewarding.

Nice, I’ll add it later. I plan to begin a new Skyrim run once I finish Fallout 4. A visual mod for Skyrim that I’d suggest is Imaginator—it lets you fine-tune saturation, light, and shadows with no performance loss. It truly gives you the freedom to customize the experience.

I'm planning to add it after getting a solid setup. I'm reinstalling Skyrim to begin over, and the Far Harbor DLC is now available.

Outside my system's capabilities, these are the features I'm eager to explore once I have access to a machine with dual bawls.
