I installed ENBs for the first time today and encountered an issue while getting a new Vanilla version of Skyrim. It asked me to delete some folders and used McAfee to wipe one of them because it insisted on admin access even though there was only one account. Now my Skyrim has no textures and everything appears in a single color. Can I fix this problem? Thank you for your help.
I restored it myself and didn't attempt a fix with Steam. I'm curious about the process.
Begin by removing any existing antivirus software before attempting a reinstall. For Steam, right-click the selected game, go to Properties, choose Local Files, then verify the cache.
Let me know once you're done; I'll confirm if it functions properly. If it didn't, repairing with steam didn't resolve the issue.
