They did eliminate the 60FPS restriction. Activate V sync, but verify stability remains at 60 FPS before enabling it.

They maintain a smooth 60fps frame rate, whereas my performance drops abruptly to a steady 30 before returning to 60, unlike typical lag patterns.

The optimal approach is to turn off V-sync entirely (adjust iVsyncPresetInterval to 0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini) and employ tools like Nvidia Inspector to cap the game's framerate. My settings are limited to 90fps, there are no physics problems, and it runs much smoother without V-sync enabled.

FX6300, you're right about the older model, but it should work fine with 12 GB of RAM.

For Nvidia Inspector, create a new profile, choose the SkyrimSE executable from your SteamAPPS/common/SkyrimSE directory, and find the FPS setting near the beginning of the options.
