The removal process should be secure using NMM or simply deleting the esp, BSA files, and loose items like sound folders and texture files such as Mogo's Mead labels. The mod is fundamentally simple, with most size coming from audio files. As with all modifications, some data might remain in your save files. Starfis has shared a useful checklist for uninstalling: 1. Remove all followers from this mod if needed. 2. Go to a location free of NPCs. 3. Save your current save before uninstalling via NMM. 4. If necessary, recreate patches such as Bashed patch, Dual Sheath Redux patch, Merged patch, ReProcer patch... to avoid issues with dependent files or CTDs.

Personal notes:
- I had no followers associated with this mod.
- I deleted all my saves and mods to focus on new projects and progress.
- The uninstallation in NMM sometimes becomes unresponsive.

Handle your formatting carefully. Those serious about managing mods shouldn't rely on Nexus Mod Manager—it just mixes everything into one messy pile. Switch to something like Mod Organizer for smoother control. Ask about logging options in NMM to understand why mods freeze. In the worst scenario, document all installed mods, save your settings, and reinstall them (preferably with a better manager).

I'm trying to remove all my mods, but the auto-uninstall feature won't work due to a specific file. It seems like it wants to begin with some intriguing NPCs instead. Which one do you think is better—Wyre Bash or Mod Organizer?

Starting with 3DNPC usually comes first after loading your order. Try removing all followers. iNPC isn’t that special anymore—it just tags followers to the PC by setting the count to -1 in CK. Squirrel’s right. If you need mods that change files, uninstall them and then restore in reverse so the right backup replaces last. Things like eye textures were a nightmare, like imperial_fem_blue_eyes.bak.2 or imperial_fem_blue_eyes.bak 1. They can spiral fast. I’ve had NMM get stuck when I used it before. Sometimes leaving it alone for a while lets it finish. Anyway, let’s start fresh—perfect time to use MO for textures, patches, and odd mods.

I resolved the issue by searching through various folders and deleting unnecessary files. There were several identical folders scattered across other locations...When I opened NMM, it reported missing files and attempted to locate or remove them. The process took 10 minutes to complete, but no files were actually found.
