Skyrim mod suggestions.
Skyrim mod suggestions.
If you owned Skyrim on Steam, you’d want to grab the remastered edition for free. At least that’s what I and my friends did. Regarding mods, SkyUI plus Lockpick Pro work well for replaying the game.
SKSE is necessary for all mentioned changes except visual and audio mods. No timeline is provided for SKSE updates, and it isn’t guaranteed to be available for the remaster. It’s implied that SkyUI is crucial unless you prefer the default interface. For visual enhancements, the 2K textures pack is advised, along with CoT+ELFX for lighting and weather effects. Parallax and SMIM are recommended for mesh improvements. When using ENBs, Vividian, Realvision, or Tetrachromatic work well. Ensure all overlays are disabled when installing an ENB, following the specific guidelines on the mod pages. Add any required items, as installing anything else may cause the preset to appear incorrect. For combat, ASIS or Combat Evolved are solid choices; Deadly Dragons adds a nice touch. Deadly Combat is a strong option but can be bloated with scripts. Overhaul mods like Ordinator (perk-only) or Requiem (full overhaul) are good alternatives. Frostfall is highly suggested, especially with iNeed for survival features. If you're open to a complete rebuild, Enderal is a solid pick. Overall, the conversion looks polished and thorough.
