You'll likely achieve around 100 FPS at 1080p with that setup.

~60-90 Skyrim demands significant processing power. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2013/11...l-review/5

That's because it's on Ultra, turn the dial down for more FPS

Ultra isn't significantly improved over high in Skyrim. To enhance its appearance, you need to add texture packs. These packs can lower performance since Skyrim is quite demanding on the CPU.

You aim for around 80-90 FPS and plan to tweak your GPU a bit.

Could I recommend trying a frame limiter? If you manage to maintain GPU temperature with high resolution and steady frames, it might be better than increasing overclocking. This could lead the GPU to overheat faster and throttle more often. Consider capping at 60, 45 or 30 FPS, depending on your monitor's refresh capabilities. If you're aiming for 80-90 FPS, you might need additional upgrades!

Maintain a consistent frame rate of 60 in Skyrim. The performance depends on the physics system, and exceeding this will cause unusual behavior.
