I am desperate. I really want this to work, and I've been trying every once in a while for several months, but after spending 2 hours looking for and installing any possible fixes, and asking on Steam Skyrim forum for help, I still can't get ENBs to work. Here's my problem: Whenever I install an ENB (put the files from Wrapper Version) to my Skyrim, when I use the Skyrim Launcher, it freezes and crashes. If I use SKSE, it'll show an error like this: I had Windows 8 installed and it worked just fine, I then changed to Windows 10 (doing full HDD format) and I started getting this error. I reverted to Windows 7 (again, doing full HDD format) and the problem persisted. Now I'm again at Windows 8 (yet again, doing full HDD format before installing new OS) and I still can't get it to work. Do you have any ideas as to how to fix it? I know I'm installing it correctly, I've been using ENB for quite some time before changing the OS. I heard that, in case the Wrapper Version doesn't work, you should use the Injector Version. However in my case, it doesn't work either. Not like I don't see much graphics difference, it simply doesn't work. There is no ENB process working, there is no text in top-left corner of the screen indicating that ENB is working, there's nothing. Help!

I don't see the image (likely a personal problem), but I'll still attempt to assist. Do you have Mod Organizer or Nexus Mod Manager set up for your modding? If not, I'd suggest it because it simplifies disabling mods and diagnosing the problem. For SKSE-dependent mods like SkyUI, always launch Skyrim through SKSE.

I'm testing ENB for functionality and trying to make it function properly. I have a clean game with no mods installed. If you're interested, I can also provide SKSE. It doesn't work with a clean game. I recently used ENBInjector, but it didn't change the in-game performance much—when the game starts, the injector process uses about 10% CPU, while idle uses around 0.5%. Perhaps it does work, and the absence of a preset makes it appear identical to the original. Also, the error message says: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000007b). Click OK to close the app.

Do you have Enboost and the necessary ini adjustments? Are there any additional mods that change shaders or similar features (such as SweetFX)? Have you confirmed the memory settings are correct in both SKSE and Enboost? If needed, consider a clean install of Skyrim and add only ENB along with the required mods and tweaks, then install the remaining mods gradually until you identify the issue.

What version do you have? If you wanted to copy everything from your ENB folder, just paste all of it. From the ENB series version, you should copy only d3d9.dll and enb host. I can't view the image, but it might be a sweetfx issue. It's hard to tell without seeing it. Start from skse, and I edited because I was drunk. Sorry!

Hey there... it seems like you're not quite getting the details right. When I'm back, I'll create a video covering everything from Skyrim installation to the error you're seeing. That should help fix any misunderstandings.

Confirming your GPU brand—Nvidia or AMD? The issues with NVIDIA drivers and Windows 10 might be related to compatibility.

Your system runs Windows 8.1 with an AMD graphics card, specifically the R9 270 graphics model.
