Skyrim: A resource for wizards?
Skyrim: A resource for wizards?
Well mage isn't the main focus. As mentioned before, the main role is archery with some magic side effects. A mix of archer and mage! I haven't changed Skyrim settings yet. If I were to customize Skyrim, would I need the Nexus Mod Manager or can I manage it manually while staying on their site? I did download files for Dark Souls 1 manually, so I think the same applies here.
You'd prefer to rely on the Mod Organizer to handle all mods automatically when opening Skyrim via the app. However, some modifications can still be applied manually, though there aren't many solid reasons to do so. Installing mods without assistance risks damaging your game files.
I attempted to use the mod manager, but lacked guidance on how it functions. For someone new to it, I expected it to seem complex. I tried modifying Fallout 3 with it, but it failed. Eventually, I gave up and played the standard version.
I know what you mean, and I appreciate the new GUIs can feel overwhelming without understanding their functions or knowing where to begin. That’s why I shared the Gophers video so you can observe what each part does, learn how to use them, and have someone walk through most of it. The easiest way to start is by getting a feel for it indirectly by watching the Gophers M.O. series.
I missed the video you shared. I glanced at that post last night, but I was lying in bed with my laptop on and half-asleep. Now I’m going to check it out. I don’t really want to alter the overall feel of the game or its mechanics, but perhaps some minor adjustments could improve the inventory displays and other small details. Regarding mods for mages, I have no idea what changes they’d bring, and it’s even more confusing since I’m still unfamiliar with magic in the original Skyrim, let alone modified versions.
