Skyrim: A resource for wizards?
I attempted the mod manager once, but there was no one to demonstrate its use. I usually relied on the manual download for mods. I didn’t think the installation was difficult, but I worried it might complicate things by altering game mechanics, or perhaps simplify them.
Not overly salty, just a touch, since every time I see that reply in any forum it feels out of place. If I hadn’t already searched online, I wouldn’t have been posting here. I understand I might find answers elsewhere, but I prefer talking with people in this space, no matter the outcome.
Hmm yea. Don't worry about it Personally the base game mage is not fun class to play at early levels without mods. Mods always make everything well Hope you enjoy your skyrim. They are some really cool spells mods which i cannot name because it been a year since i played skyrim.
Everyone uses a bow, but two-handed and heavy armor look pretty strong at first. You can easily strike anyone with a powerful steel sword. I’m not sure about the late game since my build is still in the early stages.
A mage's setup usually involves enchanting every tool you use. Focusing on removing enchantments and collecting magical gear early is a smart strategy, though challenging. Boosting your enchanting power lets you enhance passive abilities, making it a crucial skill. Conjuration is typically the only viable survival option unless you're also skilled in physical combat. In later stages, a disposable flame or frost tank can help manage the flow of battles, similar to guiding animals. Destruction Damage Enchantment significantly improves a basic mage's effectiveness. I don’t have a strong interest in alchemy, but having no Enchantment Restrictions seems beneficial. There’s a mod that displays available equipment slots, which is especially helpful for mages who rely on cloth rather than armor. The game’s reward system, like Coldharbour Resummoned, offers meaningful incentives for effort, though it requires considerable strength and mana. Immersive college of winterhold is a great experience, though the mod can cause minor hiccups during transitions. If you prefer a no-mod approach, a simple casket is the only suggestion for vanilla mages. Be aware of broken mechanics in certain areas.
For a mage run, a decent casket is the only suggestion I can make.
