Ooooooooooo. And yee, wish they'd put more VRAM on high end cards, tbh the 2080 Ti only having 11 and the 2080 stuck with 8 is bleh IMO. For most use cases it's fine, but especially on the 2080 Ti that's $1000+, you want a no compromises card that runs all your games without issue. Though the highest VRAM usage I've hit is around 9.5GB in Rise of The Tomb Raider at 4K on my Vega FE, on a 1080 it'll use 7.5GB at 1080p, 8.5GB at the same res on the Vega FE. Haven't ran it on my RVII much but I assume it'd be the same as the Vega FE. My 980 Ti did have issues pushing Very High though, which is weird because it recommends at least 6GB for Very High but didn't run it stably in my experience.
The 16GB VRAM is handy for peace of mind though, and I just put it on a waterblock so once I build my loop (probably tomorrow) I should be able to push it to 2100Mhz on the core (almost did that on the stock cooler but temps are an oof on that), should be much closer to a 1080 Ti. I compared it to my 1080 Ti when I had that though, at 4K there was no noticeable difference in AC: Odyssey or Destiny 2. I run 1080p144Hz on my PC most of the time, but I'm planning to set up my 2200G as an RDP boye hooked up to my 4K TV to play games that do well with a controller.
also keep in mind that there are two Skyrims available, one being a redo from the developers and the other the original version. the original is the most heavily modded with many mods, while the other has fewer.
