She’s pushing us to use mobile phones with cameras for a group Skype call. With 25 students, that means everyone will need to connect via Wi-Fi. In my country, most people rely on ADSL connections that only provide up to 12 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload. Most devices have very limited RAM—often less than a gigabyte. She’s not checking if everyone has premium Skype or if the setup will actually function smoothly. I need concrete numbers about bandwidth and memory usage to understand what she’s expecting.
