I've experienced win 10 for months, but recently Skype would occasionally crash when I answered a call. Now I can't answer calls without it failing. After installing an update, it reported the system was up to date (version 7.7.0.102). Some users complain about Windows issues, but Skype had to stop working today, which is disappointing.

You might just need to reinstall it. Skype is compatible with both versions. In reality, most issues stem from user mistakes rather than the operating system itself. This is especially true since Microsoft controls Skype.

Beta stage usually starts once the software is fully developed but often includes several unresolved issues. Beta versions typically have more bugs compared to finished products, along with performance problems and potential crashes or data loss. It's normal to experience these challenges during testing.
