Hey. When I hear anything on my computer, it often misses small parts of videos or music. It seems like a noise reduction feature, though it bothers me. This only happens when the volume is low. Of course, I don’t want to turn it up and risk damaging my ears. Maybe some of you have faced this issue before? For instance, the Game Awards 2015 had many audio glitches. I’m not sure if they’re called audio skips, but watching the video might clarify what I mean.
We’re looking for additional details. Are you relying on integrated audio or separate systems? Does the same apply to your headphones and speakers? Do you have any software running alongside the drivers that handles audio processing?
I only have the Realtek audio app installed. My setup uses Turtle Beach PX22s.
Adjust the levels so they sit in the middle across Realtek, Windows, and playback programs. It could also be a problem with your headset. Since you don’t have its software installed, it’s hard to say for sure. Try using a different device to rule out the headset issue.
I only have one set of headphones and they stopped working, so I can't try another pair. Using DVI means the monitor's speakers won't help much.
