Beginning at the closest slot to the CPU, I'd use 8/16/8/16. This spreads the capacity evenly between the two channels. The speed of the sticks may affect whether you can hit their maximum potential with four sticks in place.

Porina is right, 8/16/8/16. The initial 8GB on every stick will perform optimally, and the remaining 8GB on the second set will operate in dual channel. Intel’s processors should manage that setup. Still, even with identical brands, the actual memory might differ by manufacturer or version within a brand. It’s best to run comprehensive tests to detect issues. If errors appear or crashes occur, adjust memory timings for stability. Alternatively, lowering memory speed is simpler but results in reduced performance.
