Hey there! I'm searching for some additional single-player games to try out. If you have any titles you really liked, feel free to share them. Whether they're newer or older, I'm open to suggestions. I tend to enjoy story-driven RPGs, exploration games, and other solo experiences—except for platformers. I don't have any hardware restrictions, so I'm excited to hear what you recommend!

I also liked playing Battlefield 1 in story mode. I thought it was a bit silly to suggest, but using Minecraft with certain shaders like BSL can be quite enjoyable.

(there's a chance you played these games ofc) All of these are more action than chill games. I got hooked for couple of days on GTAV. when I decided to play ForHonor I played almost whole day(or2) some story mode. Tomb Raider is pretty good. (I didn't give alot of examples cause I just looked at Steam and Desktop what I got there[not so much I know]) Also Subnautica is kind of passive game where it's like Minecraft more like exploring & survival and less story.. (but it does have a more guiding storyline unlike Minecraft) You could specify what kind of games like if action, or if you like more chill. (or you don't care?)

I just finished Tomb Raider 2013. If you haven’t played the Trilogy, you might enjoy the three main games—Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. You could also try Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight. Additionally, the modern warfare series in COD is worth checking out. I haven’t played many games, but these ones stood out and I think they’re great.

Remembered this in a cyberpunk vibe—think neon lights and gritty streets.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a standout title if you haven’t tried it yet. In my view, it’s the best game ever made. The story is compelling, the voiceovers are top-notch, and it’s truly amazing. I finished it just two days ago and it completely changed how I play other games. The Assassin’s Creed series is solid, but Black Flag stands out for me. There are even mods available for a 4K realistic experience.

Red Dead Redemption 2 offers an excellent narrative, solid gameplay, and impressive mechanics, making it a true masterpiece. It includes some RPG aspects. Consider playing the online version for just $5.

Thanks for your input! You’ve got the game and haven’t played a story version before. I’m ready to give it a shot. This was one of the final titles I played, but I’m open to trying again. I didn’t play Marvel or DC games much. I’ve gone through MW1, MW2, MW3, Black Ops 1 and 2 – they were fine. I’m not really into the newer COD releases. I finished it a few days after launch and really enjoyed it compared to others. I’ll give it another go when it gets updated with DLC or improvements. RDR2 didn’t really engage me, but I might revisit it. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was solid, though Valhalla didn’t work well for me – I stopped around the 10-hour mark. I’m considering trying Black Flag again. I left out the naval combat in my first playthrough because it felt overwhelming. After Odyssey, I think I’ll try it again, especially if the naval sections improve. It’s cool you all helped me recall games I’d previously bought but never finished. Thanks for reminding me! For now, I’m planning to start RDR2 over again. After that, I might tackle the Tomb Raider trilogy and AC: Black Flag. With my 3080 and a 4K OLED with HDR, RDR2 could feel quite different from my older setup of 1080Ti and 1440p. What about you – do you have any preference for controller or mouse+keyboard? I remember the M/K controls were a bit frustrating. Have there been any changes to that?

It's a solid game offering plenty of activities and exploration in Subnautica The Long Dark Mafia 3.

Subnautica was an excellent title, but I'm holding off on playing Below Zero until its full launch. Isn't the extended darkness a true survival experience? Does it include any narrative components?
