Hello, I’m inquiring about the possibility of playing Black Desert Online at medium settings—specifically while utilizing its fishing or cooking features and sending it to a secondary display—concurrently with another game, such as the Resident Evil 4 HD Remaster or older titles.

My system specifications are as follows:
* Intel Core i5 8400 processor
* 16 GB of RAM
* 1 TB hard drive
* 120 GB solid-state drive
* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 3 GB of VRAM and a 96-bit memory interface
* Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster T190 – LCD Monitor - 19"

So, what’s preventing you from giving it a try? You certainly have sufficient memory and your processor is capable, but your graphics card might be somewhat limited—reducing the settings for the desert environment should likely resolve that issue.

I'm uncertain and a little amused. I’m concerned about potentially harming my computer components if it unexpectedly powers off. This is my initial PC build after a long period of saving, and I'm anxious about making mistakes. Please forgive me for asking a basic question. Thank you.

A potential negative outcome is that one or both games may cease to function properly or experience significant delays in responding to commands, however, the system will remain stable. Typically, minimized games operate with reduced importance, preventing substantial interference with other processes running on the computer.
