For optimal physics and FFB, consider getting an AC if you aim for the best results. Personally, I prefer PC career mode; it suits my background in console racing and offers a structured progression. PC racing simulations generally provide more depth compared to other options. I’ve played AC before, but its career system is limited—mostly focused on choosing a car and competing directly against others.

Project Cars works more like a race series calendar. Recently started using it, and it’s organized into events with two races each. The first starts with a standing start, while the second begins rolling start based on the previous event’s results. Each discipline has its own path—open wheel racing lets you climb to F1 cars, while touring car tracks lead to prototypes.

There are many alternatives to explore. Some users criticize PC and FFB heavily, but I found a helpful thread that clarifies the situation: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthr...aker-Files. The tweak mentioned has a built-in wheel rotation restriction. For example, if your car is set for 900 degrees but you drive a vehicle with 360-degree steering, the game will lock your steering under strong FFB. This tweak breaks that restriction, though you can still steer past it. You can fix the software lock to restore normal behavior while keeping the tweak.

If you’re interested in GT Legends, adjusting visuals for classic cars works well if you enjoy vintage racing. DiRT Rally is also impressive, even in its polished Early Access version, offering a great rallying experience.

Great! Your question is clear. The Ferrari F430 racing wheel performs very well on GT and Dirt 3, but its performance might be affected by the FFB issue or limited rotation on PC. You're considering getting it for your PS4, which should work fine.

I would require a racing chair and a driving wheel configuration if I own any of these games. The price was quite high.

I’d say you’re all right, though it’s tough to confirm 100% certainty. The software lock on the PC shouldn’t be too much of a concern for you if you address it or enable it. Since most components except the karts are at least 360 degrees, that should work well.

You can manage with just an Ethernet cable hidden behind the wheels—no need to roll anymore. A wheel, however, makes a big difference.

Racing is the best choice if you're focused on physics and want the most competitive experience. I enjoy iracing, but after a while it can get tedious. Assetto Corsa offers fun for hot laps and drifting in dedicated servers, and modding works well. It’s not quite as strong as iracing when it comes to racing. I haven’t tried project cars yet since my PC isn’t ready, but I think the gameplay is similar to Assetto Corsa in terms of lap times and online races. In short, each option has its own strengths—it depends on your goals. I’d recommend starting with Assetto Corsa or project cars before diving into iracing, as it can be costly and has a steep learning curve. If you decide to try iracing, keep an eye out for deals and don’t hesitate to ask the forum for advice!

It's feasible for a small group, particularly when purchasing second-hand, but for top-quality items, around 2000 is likely the standard.

For clarity, I meant the Steam store link you shared. It’s a tough simulation, not a light game—hope that helps!

Assetto Corsa offers an excellent simulation experience. The AI driving isn't fully refined, so online racing provides the best thrills. The physics feel accurate, the tracks are ideal, the vehicles are engaging, and you can enjoy long sessions tuning your car.
