I've been really enjoying Artemis Bridge Simulator lately. At CON-vergence in MN this summer, they created a unique bridge with custom stations and analog controls tailored for each character, plus special lighting. It instantly caught my attention. I've played a few times with friends since, and it feels like being part of Star Trek! In short, the game is not only fun but also quite entertaining to watch a clumsy crew attempt to fly. I think it would make a great episode for Tech Tips or Super Fun. Even if Linus and Crew have differing opinions, I wanted to start a discussion about the game—maybe swap missions or play online later. Anyone else know anything about setting up the custom lighting or other features? What do you think?

I believed we were going to model bridge physics and construct them, which left me quite disappointed.

You're referring to the Bridge Project game at the link you shared. It's a simulation where players assume one of six roles—Captain, Helm, Weapons, Science, Communications, or Engineering—each with unique responsibilities and visuals. Working together, they aim to protect their stations from alien threats or complete assigned missions. While the graphics are considered poor, the game is well-designed and likely the most engaging LAN party title I've played. Regarding the custom lighting feature, I have no prior experience with it, and I suspect the creators wouldn't focus on that aspect. It would be great if they included it in a post-party event, though.

The lighting issue was simply an open topic for the community. I was mainly looking for a video of Linus giving commands to everyone on laptops. It could be fun... maybe.
