I'm likely just one among a very few who enjoy DTG's Train Simulator. For those who haven't seen the DTG video about the future of train simulation, it's worth checking it out. TS2017 and Train Sim World are upcoming releases. TS2017 runs on the current engine with all DLCs intact, while Train Sim World is built using Unreal Engine 4 and looks impressive.
