I was playing The Sims 4 while listening to Spotify a few hours ago. I've attempted to disconnect other HDDs and reset the CMOS, but without success. I'm unsure what to do next, so I'm seeking advice. I'm using Ghost Spectre Windows 10. Edit: I'm installing w11 ghost spectre and will try it on my SSD, which might be faulty or not.

Looking forward to the discussions! Are your system details clear, and can you share your hardware specs?

Sure, I can dive into bios stuff. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5500 Gt710 Sum SSD (maybe it's damaged), two Seagate 1TB HDDs, and a 550W Corsair power supply from my uncle’s old PC. I remember my laptop stopped working, so I left the charger at my cousin’s place. Of course, I can’t download W11 Ghost Spectre anymore.

It’s better to opt for a standard Windows setup if you need assistance.

Check your boot SSD settings in BIOS first. The GT710 seems really poor, but if it starts up at all, the issue might not be there. Regarding the PSU, confirm whether it's a VS model with an orange label or a CV series—those are problematic units and should be replaced soon. For budget power supplies, MSI MAG is currently the best option.

I use a Corsair VS550 power supply. I can see the boot SSD in the BIOS and notice it lights up during startup. This suggests the Ghost Spectre setup might be damaged, possibly causing the boot failure. I'm planning to upgrade to a MAG A600DN or an FSP HV Pro 85+ 650W, and also look into getting a GPU—like an RX 6700 XT, RX 6600, or an RTX 2070 Super. The updated image is attached for reference.

I have difficulty with standard Windows performance, especially handling multiple tabs. When playing Valorant, the game runs fine but nothing else works. I've been using Ghost Spectre for three months without any OS-related issues. It seems my current problems might be due to me. A recent PC freeze during The Sims 4 after restarting likely damaged an OS file.

You’re using your SSD with the OS installation media, but you’re seeing a purple screen with just your cursor. It says setup is starting but has been stuck for about five minutes. A friend monitored it while you were away and reported that the screen went black after pressing something. Now you’re back to the splash screen. The installer warned that your SSD might be failing, possibly needing financial help from your parents. The installer also reported an error code 0x80070001 when trying to run Windows 11.

It seems the SSD is damaged. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
