Sims 4
I understand most of you are likely familiar with this, but I recently completed the Sims 4 purchase. The essential requirements are: stable internet connection, Origin client for installation, Disk Drive DVD ROM for setup only, DirectX 9.0c support, and a hard drive with at least 9 GB free space plus extra for content and saved games. The OS must be Windows XP SP3, Vista SP2, 7 SP1, 8, or 8.1; a processor of 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ (or equivalent for built-in graphics), 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62, at least 2 GB RAM, a video card with 128 MB VRAM and Pixel Shader 3.0 support. Compatible cards include NVIDIA GeForce 6600+, ATI Radeon X1300+, or Intel GMA X4500+. Recommended gear: DVD ROM only for installation, DirectX 9.0c, 64-bit OS, 64-bit Windows 7/8/8.1, and a processor that meets the listed specs.
Examine TF2—it's a source title, designed to run efficiently with minimal resources, and it shares similar demands as other games in the series.
Around 2007, it uses Vista version 32-bit, includes 2GB of memory, and has a Pentium T4200 processor at 2.0 GHz (perhaps not exact). If you're looking for the laptop model, it could be the Acer Aspire 7735Z.
I believe it matches the HD3000 specs. I should verify. Whatever it is, it performs well with Strife. Updated: Intel Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Manufacturer Intel Model Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Device ID 8086-2A42 Revision A Subvendor Acer Incorporated [ALI] (1025). Current performance level is 0, driver version 8.15.10.2869. No idea what I have, but it seems to work.
It seems the device likely has a built-in GPU, but Ark doesn't display any graphics options.
