Consider exploring suitable emulators for the games you want. The Switch supports many titles, including Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, through compatible versions. If you're open to it, a Wii-U could work but may require additional hardware. Check popular options like NES Emulator or RetroArch for a good starting point.

Their prices aren't that high when you check CrailsList.

I agree with that too when I first got it—just sitting there collecting dust and taking up desk space. I bought it for the same reason the other person did, which was to play Zelda games. Now it doesn’t really add value since most titles are moving to the Switch, which he owns.

Wind Waker is awesome, get a Gamecube instead I'd just get a Wii U with some other good titles.

They say Dolphins look nicer, and getting a Gamecube or Wii release on disk in some stores should cost less or be more available. WiiU stuff isn't that popular. And CEMU doesn't seem to be doing well...

It's a bit of a mixed take on the Switch experience. Without titles like Hyrule Warriors or Zelda Breath of the Wild, it feels quite limited. There are around five solid games available, mostly exclusive to the Wii U—though the Gamepad works decently but in a different style. The design isn't great, especially with the size, making it harder to play compared to a PS3 controller. Still, the display on the Gamepad is a nice touch. Overall, it's an interesting idea, but the hardware feels outdated for now. A better console with motion controls would be ideal, so I'd prefer a PS2 instead of the Switch. The Gamecube had some great controllers too!

Additionally, the Switch he already possesses. That was my argument.
