I plan to use Windows 10 hotspot settings to connect the Quest 2 wirelessly, so you don’t need to upgrade your Wi-Fi router. A laptop with Wi-Fi 6 cards costs about one-third of a new router and reduces the number of connections in the setup. I know remote desktop can reach up to 150Mbps, but I’m curious about testing different Wi-Fi standards—like comparing AC and Ax without a router, using a hard link cable, or connecting via a Wi-Fi router.
