On the 29th I switched to Windows 10 without any issues during or after the upgrade. However, I didn’t have the chance to perform a clean install. Now I’m thinking about doing a factory reset and I have a question—will that keep me on Windows 10? When I reset my system in Win8.1 a few months ago, it went back to Win8, and I ended up having to go through all the steps again, especially with my slow 3Mbps internet connection. Could you help me understand what to expect?

Reset the system and perform a disk cleanup to achieve the same outcome.

That’s really annoying with Windows. What if a troll friend messed with your computer so easily?

I understand your concern. I’m checking whether this method works on Windows 10 or if it might bring you back to an older version like Win8 or Win8.1.

there are various resets available, including one that wipes all your apps and data—please verify and reply if needed.

It will remain on Windows 10; I had to apply that approach on my tablet since I couldn’t use a USB drive for a fresh installation there.
