Have you ever been a long-time TES fan, or did you just dive into Skyrim? If not, you might want to check out TES 3: Morrowind. It's a classic that's been around for over a decade and offers some of the most immersive RPGs out there. Keep in mind it's quite old!
I really enjoyed the first one and played it multiple times. The story is bad, but it works well as an action RPG. The second one starts quite dull, but it improves significantly after about six hours of playtime, which is often too late for most players. If they're bored, they'll likely quit before reaching that point.
I previously spent a lot of time on Xbox but have recently begun playing again on PC and engaging in modding. I also played Oblivion quite a while ago.
I really enjoyed the first one a lot, but objectively it was terrible. The story didn’t work well, the interface was poor, and the graphics weren’t impressive for that era. The voice acting was bad and full of issues. Still, I had fun exploring the world and playing multiplayer, which is why I don’t have a high opinion of the second one—I probably didn’t play past six hours.
Most of the Witcher saga, Dragon Age and earlier TES games lean heavily on Morrowind. That’s the only thing I can genuinely recommend right now.
It's a solid title, but it lacks depth and offers few chances to replay. The world feels repetitive, mostly confined to a single area around a castle. It resembles a lighter version of Dark Souls, with some compromises in scope and design.
It runs well on PC. The graphics are great and the controls are solid. Dark Souls feels terrible on PC.
