Consider the grip coefficients and power. The sound quality is similar to what you'd expect.

It's been a while since I stepped into a public lobby—those stops really curb the worst behavior but don't stop the reckless drivers. Right now, I'm mainly concentrating on the model, while we have a solid sense of its performance. The aerodynamics make it seem like it'll be very stable in corners rather than offering straight-line speed. The aero also hints at Ford possibly facing an engine bottleneck. AI is intriguing; it's keeping up with GTE now, just behind the Darche which is realistic. In my view, it's still about two seconds slower than the EGT Bayro during the laps in Imola, Spa, and Brands Hatch. Once we gather proper race data, we'll be able to handle the physics more accurately.

Been enjoying a lot of PCars lately. Here are recent screens... Tri-podding a Porsche while sliding in the rain on turn one at Brands Hatch. The rest of these images are from doing a series of races with the infamous Lotus 98T - one of my favorite race cars of all time. With the AI difficulty cranked up, it requires SO MUCH concentration and it's such a non-stop fight with the wheel to be truly fast in this car (with no assists) that I'm literally sweating buckets by the end of even just a qualifying session. lol. Then, if I manage to qualify at the front of the pack (usually can) the next big challenge is executing a clean launch and getaway off the start. A few times this went horribly wrong as my car uncontrollably careened into the wall. You know when you end up upside down and you can see your own wheel sitting on the track some distance away, it wasn't a good start. It's hard enough to keep these cars tame on your own, let alone in a pack. Well, when I crested a hill at Circuit Zolder and one of the AI decided to nudge me when traction was all but scarce - the following two images is what resulted: The rest of these are just some nice pics of the mighty 98T. Enjoy. Oh and one more thing... If you don't think these cars are that much of a handful, the calluses on my hands say otherwise. Very few other cars force me to hold the wheel this tight. It's a constant battle keeping these suckers going straight and I love every second of it!

The RUFs enjoy lifting wheels, that's what I know. The 98T still doesn't match my view, but those John Player liveries are really nice. The AI in PCARS offers some fun battles, though mistakes make for amusing moments (and sometimes your car crashes into a corner at 250 kph, sending it rolling—though that’s another story). I’m adjusting settings with the Freesync monitor to maintain quality and a solid AI field. The FX8350 struggles with 16-car races when OBS records at high bit rate locally. I’m currently capturing various details in AC and PCARs about DLC content, and I’ve updated the first post. I’ll share video links once editing is done, and I’ll keep you in the loop. Hopefully, I’ll still have time to play with you all. Also, even though it’s a suede wheel, I might consider gloves to protect the material and prevent calluses. Leo Bodnar and NaturalPoint have sent tracking numbers for my SLI-Pro and TrackIR 5. DSD confirmed my order for all the gear needed to fit my Nardi wheel onto the G27, including a custom mini plate for the buttons. Was it worth spending a full course on the G27 upgrades? I’m not sure yet—maybe November will tell. One more thing – X-Post from The Garage: With Mitsubishi’s latest news, I think it’s a good idea to test the FQ400 in Project CARS tonight or this week. Just throwing it out there, but I’d be all in.

I detect a prolonged FQ400 drift session ahead. It might be necessary to turn off engine damage to prevent an explosion after two laps.

Two laps in esports can be a mess, the biggest mess possible

I understand your frustration, many of my friends got a 935 K3 moby dick into Assetto Corsa and it can be really tough to handle, especially when every corner feels like a challenge. I remember struggling with the GT3 too, trying to drift on the C9—it was a blast but not without its difficulties.

It's just two laps!? That feels a bit... uninspired. The track demands more than speed—endurance and steady performance matter. Luck might win some races, but true talent shines through consistent effort over time.
