Hey guys, just installed my H100i v2 and was tweaking my 3570k on my ASUS Z77 Extreme4 with prime95 and openhwmonitor. I'm following this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1198504/compl...ck-edition. I managed to hit 4.6 at around 1.25 turbo voltage, but 4.7 needs nearly 1.3V. The question is whether the extra 0.1V is worth the big jump. The guide suggests a max of 1.25, but some say 1.3 is okay and 1.4 is the limit. I'm not sure who's right. I want my CPU to last longer (it's been 2 years already) while keeping a good clock speed. Should I keep pushing to 4.8 if the voltage allows?
1.3V works well as long as you manage your heat. Keep the temperature below 80°C on average. If it gets too high, consider lowering it to 4.8, but for continuous use aim to stay under 1.350V.
