You're experiencing frequent FPS drops on your Ideapad Gaming 3 laptop across various games. The problem seems consistent regardless of the game, affecting titles like AoE4, RS6, and DRG. Your system specs include an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with a 3GHz CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650Ti GPU, Windows 11, and specific RAM and storage configurations. Restarting helps somewhat but doesn't fully resolve the issue.

Starting from the laptop, what's the temperature? It could be slowing down because it's getting too hot.

Keep GPU-Z running quietly in the background during games. If the problem arises, review your CPU and GPU temperatures.

It looks like your laptop is experiencing thermal throttling. Based on the specifications, it might be time for a refresh or some cleaning to resolve the issue.

Thank you for the update. The fan was cleaned and thermal paste applied to the CPU and GPU. Temperatures decreased noticeably—especially with the RS6 and AOE4 configurations.
