You're experiencing audio-visual sync problems with popping, cracking, and robotic sounds coming from your PC. The build details you provided suggest a high-end system, but the issue has persisted since installation. You've tried updating drivers, checking BIOS, and even disabling the GPU to see if it helps. The latency monitor points to a potential DirectX driver conflict, possibly tied to the NVidia chip. It might be worth investigating hardware compatibility or considering a hardware refresh if the problem continues.
There are also significant popping sounds in the Discord chat. It's unclear if this occurs with regular downloaded files; I don't have any on my PC, and the PC isn't responding well. The problem becomes more severe the longer the PC runs.
The audio is coming from the rear I/O, but HDMI isn't working. I chose not to install the HD audio driver during the NVidia drivers setup, and I'm wondering if that affected the result.
My main worry is whether this might be a hardware problem. It seems to worsen over time without a reboot and impacts even the mouse stutter during big spikes. The network and TCP/IP drivers are clearly the biggest issues. Since the GPU was new, I'm getting anxious now that problems are appearing. If the drivers are outdated, it could really become a big issue. Hopefully, a quick update will fix this.
Open MyComputer's properties, go to Advanced Settings, then Advanced Tab, Performance Settings, and switch background services.
I used DDU each time I set up NVidia drivers, and I even got standalone versions without installing GeForce Experience too.
I tried a few approaches and checked Microsoft’s guidance on clean boot for Intel drivers. I looked at Device Manager, Network adaptors, and the Intel Ethernet connection settings. Changed power management options and driver versions for NVIDIA. Fixed audio and graphics issues by installing a VPN (CyberGhost) and then switching to Windows 10 with VPN blocking. To stop repeated attempts, I wrote custom C++ and Python scripts. If you’re not using these methods, they should work for you.
