My gaming performance has recently become extremely poor, exhibiting consistently low frame rates. I possess an RX 580 with 4GB of video memory, a Intel i5-7400 processor, and 16 GB of RAM. Previously, I could comfortably play games at maximum settings, but now my frame rates consistently plummet to 30 frames per second or lower – I experienced a mere 1 fps in Rocket League. I’ve observed brief periods of intense hard drive activity (reaching 100% usage for a second), though my other system metrics remain consistently below 60 or 70%. Attempting to update drivers and the operating system actually exacerbated the problem. The most significant frame drops occur during gameplay in *The Witcher 3* and while utilizing the frontline mode in *Mordhau*, despite my system specifications indicating that resources are not being fully utilized. I’m thoroughly perplexed by this situation.

CPU and GPU temperatures? Hard drive and solid state drive models – quite unusual. I haven’t encountered those before.

Is the rx580 a recently released graphics card? Have you completely removed your previous card's drivers using DDU?
