I own my PC for a few years and have always been fine. Around two weeks ago, my monitors stopped sending signals and I couldn’t use the computer except when playing games. I’ve updated drivers, reinstalled everything, tested the GPU on another machine, cleared dust, refreshed BIOS, put new thermal paste on the CPU, and even replaced the power supply. Still nothing has resolved the problem. I need advice on what might be causing this. My hardware includes an RTX 2080, 8GB RAM, 3600MHz CPU, 16GB GPU memory, B450 Tomahawk graphics card, EVGA 80+ gold 1000W PSU, Windows 10 64-bit.

I know this might seem simple, but could it be related to an HDMI cable? I understand you're not fixing the computer otherwise... I'll consider it. Only in games, right? Are you using a particular game launcher or any specific game? I noticed you mentioned purchasing a new power supply, and your specifications list an EVGA 1000W PSU. Yes, I can see why you're frustrated—if a 1000-watt unit doesn't help, what else could work? What would happen if you tried launching a game that doesn't run in Windows? I'll keep following this topic and check what others say, because I'm curious.

I own two monitors, one connected via HDMI and the other through a display cable. I've changed them multiple times without success. The issue began while playing Rainbow Six Siege and now occurs with every game I attempt. Occasionally I manage a few hours of playtime before it crashes, but it always ends up failing. I've also checked the temperatures of my GPU and CPU, which remain low, though I can't see them when the displays lose signal.

I reviewed my event viewer and saw the same issue, SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization for WORKGROUP\ZACHPC$ via the provided link. After investigating, it seems to be related to my TPM. I removed it and restarted the PC, which resolved the problem. However, about a week later, the error reappeared with the identical message. I attempted the same solution, but it didn’t fix it. I’m unsure what to do next.

TPM... you're not using Windows 11, right? Can't you just turn off TPM in the BIOS? I don't understand how that might relate to your issue, but that's something worth trying. Could you also clarify what causes the black screen—shutting down, blue screen, Windows error, frozen display? Is it just the HDMI going dark or both HDMI and DisplayPort screens? Trying one test screen, then using the cables, and checking GPU power and PCI connection.
