Hey everyone, I just upgraded my PC with an i5 11400, AsRock B560 Pro, 16GB RAM from HyperX. After setting up XMP yesterday, everything was fine—games ran smoothly. But today when I tried to boot one of the games I played earlier, the PC shut down after a couple of minutes. The CPU and DRAM lights came on, fans spun, and RGB lit, but it didn’t POST properly. I’ve tried clearing CMOS, running the PC without GPU or storage, checking RAM on another machine, and even disassembling the board twice. All pins look good, and capacitors seem intact. I’m stuck—any suggestions or checks could help?

Remove the CPU and reinstall it. It might be faulty and require a return or replacement. A simple solution is to test with another monitor and cable to check for any signal output.

You might want to check if a return is possible since it appears the item is dead. Consider swapping the CPU or the motherboard (or both), assuming they’re still covered by warranty. I’m looking for other suggestions but it seems like something may have failed during manufacturing. Do you have another motherboard or CPU you’d like to try?

I don’t possess any other MOBO, and my last destination here is resolving the MOBO since I’m not sure it’s the CPU.
