Signal fluctuates intermittently when the computer is active.
I've also attempted to switch the cable and monitors, but the problem persists. I'll try the IGPU next.
I recently tested the igpu and when I gently touched the table it triggered a blue screen crash, after which the computer rebooted immediately and the screen reset as well.
It seems unusual. I’d carefully plug and reseat everything on the desktop.
The cable with the faulty screen only powers down that specific display, while the others remain operational. Connecting it to the IGPU and tapping it seems to trigger a system-wide shutdown. It looks like a bad cable to me... Aunt Edit mentions she checked the cable but it was the table, suggesting the display unit itself might be the issue...
I've adjusted the cables before, but nothing altered anything. Even with both monitors linked to the GPU, they lost signal when I tapped the table and when one was connected via HDMI to the IGPU. A blue screen appeared then. When both were connected using DisplayPort to the GPU and HDMI to the motherboard, everything worked fine without issues. The problem seems resolved so far. I also have my PC on a different table from the monitors. At first, even light pressure like placing my phone on the table caused the monitors to shut down. It doesn't seem like a monitor issue since it happened with three different ones.
The problem persists because the top monitor is linked to the integrated graphics output while the bottom monitor connects to the GPU. I've already installed a fresh OS, cleared all graphics drivers, reinstalled them, updated the BIOS, replaced the motherboard, RAM, GPU, PSU, and storage since the issue started. 1mp4
