At the moment, the only PS visible in this setup is the Corsair RM switch series, which lacks dedicated 12vhpwr connectors for the RTX 4K cards. Have any others received updates about upcoming releases similar to it? I’m currently using an evga supernova 1300w G2 with the Octopus adapter paired with my 4090, so power isn’t a concern right now. I’d still prefer side-mounted connectors in a smart PS and a cleaner cable layout inside my glass case.
I haven't noticed any signals from other makers about adopting the Switch setup; it seems unlikely anyone else will follow suit, except possibly Corsair, due to potential patent issues around a possibly exclusive modular design. More significantly, the Shift model supports both ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 with the 12vhpwr connector, as confirmed by Corsair.
Reviewing the provided cable lists for these devices, it clearly displays a twin PCIe to 12vhpwr 16-pin (12+4) cable in the catalog, without labeling it as an adapter, unlike other Corsair variants.

The 12vhpwr cable is original and connects directly to the modular board, not fitting any of the additional PCIe cables.
Their cable removes two PCIe connectors from the PS without any data pins, so I'm looking for a genuine PCIe 5 power supply with side-mounted connectors that follows Intel specifications.
