Check the BIOS settings for the SVM mode option and ensure it's turned off. If you're still seeing it as enabled, try restarting the laptop or resetting the BIOS settings.

The feature was turned off for no specific reason. It only matters when using virtualisation tools and can affect gaming in rare situations. If you're certain you don’t need it, adjust BIOS settings by accessing CPU configuration, locating the SVM mode option, setting it to disabled, and saving changes. To verify, run a Windows command in BIOS (right-click Start → Run → msinfo32) to check virtualisation status.

Sure, the reason I’m turning it off is because my work software needs virtualisation disabled. Unfortunately, I can’t change the BIOS settings to turn off SVM even though I have an AMD CPU. Is there a Windows option I should check?
