Shutting down the monitor can temporarily halt Windows 11, but it may not always fully freeze the system.
I'm dealing with a 3-monitor configuration (different sizes, resolutions, refresh rates) on my Windows 11 PC. One monitor is OLED and I sometimes turn it off to save it. When I do that, the system seems to switch to a two-monitor setup and pause briefly before closing games. I'm looking for a way to maintain the three monitors while keeping applications running smoothly or to make the power cycle less disruptive.
