Power requirements shouldn't be the main concern. Even with several power rails, 850W is more than enough. With 80% efficiency, the apparent wall draw will be significantly higher than the actual internal consumption. This is still uncertain, but could your BIOS version be outdated? I experienced many instability problems with the B550 (not the 450) chipset until I either turned off XMP or updated the BIOS with the newest release. Specifically, the problem in the BIOS relates to AMD's AGESA framework, an API used for initializing mainboards. As part of such mainboards' BIOS, AGESA handles the setup of CPU cores, chipset, main memory, and the HyperTransport controller. The 450 model might be more affected by memory speeds than the 550, even though the memory controller is likely built into the CPU die.

Your PSU is working well... around 400 watts should suffice, at least 300. Your chip rating is 100, which is sufficient... Should it automatically shut down or reset suddenly?
It's puzzling; I'm not sure what might be causing this. I should look into the Event Logs on Windows for any clues. Are there signs of a hard shutdown? Do you notice the relay clicking off abruptly as if power was cut? The chances of it being the extension cables are very low. It seems like power delivery might be failing or the board is trying to shut down automatically due to overheating or other issues. Anyone know if the board can switch pins for startup/shutdown in overheat or error conditions on the 24PIN ATX power? I'm pretty sure it's not the power supply since you've tried another one and 850W is more than enough.
