I saved the Ubuntu installer on a flash drive, inserted it into my laptop, and it booted properly. After pressing enter to launch Ubuntu, the system performed a USB check and then abruptly shut down. I attempted to run the USB in BIOS mode, canceled the check in UEFI mode, and tried BIOS again without success. The laptop is an Asus ZX553VD with these specifications: i7 7700HQ GTX 1050, 1x8GB DDR4 at 2400MHz, Western Digital Blue M.2 250GB/1TB drive, and a Seagate 5400RPM hard drive with BIOS revision 307, Secure Boot disabled, Legacy USB support enabled, and USB Mass Storage Driver support enabled.

Attempt to reinstall Ubuntu on the device. Occasionally flashing may cause issues. Ensure the storage media is functioning properly.

Review the MD5 values from the ISO file. You mentioned hearing about them often, and after testing, you realized the download issue.
