I received a serious mess with my laptop (HP 9470m, Intel i5-3437U, built-in Intel HD 4000, 8GB RAM). It runs Valorant smoothly at 40-50 FPS when everything is off or minimal. I’m looking into ways to automatically manage background apps and processes so they start only when needed, boosting performance. Right now I have to switch them manually, which usually adds 5-10 FPS.

You might create an AutoHotkey script for this.

There are options available, similar to game boosters, but I haven't used any myself. They seem to function as you explained.

I'll examine it carefully; originally I wanted a GUI, but I'll proceed with whatever is available.
