I'm dealing with a problem on my R5 5600G rig using the stock cooler Asus TUF B550M. It's connected to a Gigantic UD 750W gold TORFX delta 2x8GB RAM, RGB iGame RTX 3070 Ti. After a fresh Windows 10/11 64-bit install, the display disconnects after a few minutes during benchmarking (Unigine Heaven or 3DMark). The GPU fans keep running even when the screen is off. Event Viewer shows a BSOD, and I can test with IGPU but it works. I've attached some videos showing the issue, including an MSI Afterburner monitor link. There are also logs and DMP files available for further analysis. Any other steps you'd like to try? Is the GPU still functioning?
The BSOD indicates a DPC_Watchdog_Violation linked to the Nvidia driver. While the crash often points to driver issues, hardware problems seem likely given the monitor going black. Clearing the current GPU driver with DDU before installing a new one might help. Other factors like power supply or motherboard could cause it, but no such signs appear here.
Seems weird as this is on a fresh win10 install. I tried your suggestion ran DDU and installed the latest drivers. Same result with 3dmark and unigine. What's strange is I was able to run furmark for 1hr with no issues. any other suggestion I can do before I take it to a shop and troubleshoot by swapping out parts?
Only if you have another computer or extra graphics card installed.
