Shut Down Problem
Shut Down Problem
Try doing a system restore before the update hits. See if it turns your shutdown back on. Also, check if anything shows up as yellow in Device Manager right now.
what did that mean? Was it a weekly change or just a new version number?
Could mean it's a brand-new update called 23h2 that came out just now.
This might just be a process that doesn't turn off completely, which makes Windows stay on. So next time you need to shut down, open an elevated command prompt and type this: shutdown /s /f /t 0 The switches tell the command to force all running things to close (/s) and shut it down now (/t 0). Does that actually shut everything off?
Setting up new driver files for your chiplet might fix problems sometimes.
