My roommate and I are hoping to play The Elder Scrolls Online together. My computer is capable of running both versions without problems, but I’m attempting to use a keyboard and mouse, while he's utilizing a gamepad (Xbox controller). We’re having difficulty coordinating our gameplay because of a Windows feature called “Window Focus.” Specifically, if one window is active, the other can only access that window, which prevents us from playing simultaneously. Are there any applications available that could forcibly synchronize the controller with the game program?

If you're using Windows 10, disabling Focus is straightforward. Simply enter “focus” into the search bar, select “Focus Assistant settings,” and then click the "Off" button.

Windows is currently prioritizing this specific window, which is not ideal. I need to either locate a program that can permanently assign control to this application or simply disable the focus when switching to another window.

To my knowledge, only one Windows 10 feature exists named Focus Assistant. Are you certain you aren't thinking of Magnifier?

Are you attempting to deceive me… or do you genuinely mean what you say?

I want to emphasize that I’m unaware of any alternative method within Windows 10 named “Focus” besides the Focus Assistant. Your request to disable this feature appears to stem from a somewhat imprecise description of your issue.
