I connected the old PC to a monitor and saw the prompt "reboot and select proper boot device." However, I couldn't proceed beyond that step.

To bypass that display, you must connect a system with an operating system installed connected to the motherboard. Entering BIOS requires completing this initial connection before proceeding.
